Okay, so I didn’t exactly choose to be a vampire, but I did choose to be a Vampire Procedure licensed provider. After all, vampires are scary. Vampire Procedures, however, are fabulous! And they all involve – you guessed it – blood!

First made popular by Kim Kardashian, the Vampire Facial went mainstream in a big way. It’s been called everything from gross to a magic fountain of youth. So, what exactly is a Vampire Procedure and what does it have to do with vampires?

Originally coined and trademarked by Dr. Charles Runels, a plastic surgeon from outside of Mobile, AL, the medical term for these procedures is a Platelet-Rich Plasma or PRP procedure. However, all providers of Vampire Procedures have to be licensed and trained by the Cellular Medicine Association since these are specific methods of using PRP procedures. The procedures themselves all involve drawing the patient’s blood, spinning the blood in a centrifuge to remove the hemoglobin from the platelet-rich plasma, and then injecting the platelets back into the patient in specific places or applying it topically or both. The platelets contain a large number of growth factors, which increases collagen production and the development of new tissue.

The procedures require very specific equipment, as they are medical procedures and should be administered by medical professionals.

The Bloody Good Benefits of PRP

So what exactly are the benefits of these bloody procedures? Here’s our top FIVE:

1: The fountain of youthful skin

While it won’t actually make you younger, the Vampire Facial and Facelift will certainly make you look younger. The Vampire Facial is a great treatment for a variety of skin issues including acne, acne scarring, melasma, wrinkles, lines, and just overall skin maintenance to maintain moisture and volume. This procedure uses a specific technique of microneedling coupled with PRP.

2: It’s like bringing the old you back to life

The Vampire Facelift is a way of both restoring shape, and improving tone and texture, as well as literally rejuvenating new and younger tissue. The providers licensed to perform this procedure will take into account the mathematics of beauty and balance as defined by much research, starting all the way back with Leonardo da Vinci. The goal is to avoid creating an unnatural shape. This procedure uses PRP coupled with an HA filler like Restylane or Juvederm in a specific way to sculpt a younger appearing face – while still keeping the shape natural.

3: You know that passage: “Enjoy the wife of your youth”

The wisdom and experience gained over the years are probably something you wouldn’t trade in for the world, but perhaps the rest of the effects of aging you would gladly hand over. For one, the breasts are in a whole new place. But with the Vampire Breast Lift, it’s like traveling in time back to the body of a younger you and taking all the wisdom and experience of aging back with you. This procedure can turn back the clock in ways that you will see (and feel)!

4: Wearing a Crown Worthy of Royalty

If hair is the crown of glory, then PRP hair restoration can make you a king or queen! You’ll set aside all those ball caps and hoods, headbands and ponytail holders so you can show off your thick, luxurious locks. Whether you have thinning hair or male/female pattern baldness, the results will have you leaping for joy as new hair begins to grow from your own scalp!

5: A Boost in the Bedroom

Both men and women can experience a bounce back to the intimacy of their youth (or maybe even better than that) with help from the Priapus Shot and the O- Shot. Both are injections into the sexual organs to improve everything from urinary incontinence, dryness, lack of sensation, to size. The benefits are endless!

No matter which procedure(s) you choose, one thing is certain, you will see and feel results you love and they will last much longer than any pill or procedure alone will! The best part is, we are using your own cells to produce these results.
